Ryota Nakano
Ryota Nakano (born 1973) is a Japanese film director and screenwriter from Kyoto, Japan. He is recognized for his work in contemporary Japanese cinema, often serving as both the director and writer for his feature film projects.

Career
Nakano's directorial career includes several notable feature films. His early work, Capturing Dad (2013), gained recognition at the 9th Skip City International D-Cinema Festival, where he received both the Best Director award and the SKIP CITY AWARD. With this achievement, he became the first Japanese director to win the Best Director award at that specific festival.
He continued to gain critical attention with subsequent projects, including Her Love Boils Bathwater (2016), A Long Goodbye (2019), and The Asadas! (2020). In addition to his directorial roles, Nakano is credited as the screenwriter for these productions.
