Room No. 7 (2017 Film)
Room No. 7 (Korean: 7호실; RR: 7hosil) is a 2017 South Korean dark comedy thriller directed by Lee Yong-Seung. The film explores the desperate circumstances of two individuals whose lives intersect within the confines of a struggling DVD screening room in Seoul.

Plot
Doo-Sik (Shin Ha-Kyun) is the owner of a failing DVD screening room in Seoul. Desperate to resolve his financial troubles, he attempts to sell the business. Tae-Jung (Do Kyung-Soo), a part-time employee at the establishment, is also in urgent need of money and hides a bag in Room No. 7, intending to retrieve it after a few days. When Doo-Sik discovers the bag, he decides to seal the room to prevent any interference with his impending business sale. This leads to a tense confrontation as both men struggle to maintain control over the room and their respective futures.
Production
The production of Room No. 7 began with a script reading and a traditional gosa ceremony on December 22, 2016. Principal photography commenced on January 2, 2017, and concluded on February 23, 2017. The film was directed by Lee Yong-Seung, who also wrote the screenplay, and produced by Shim Jae-Myung.

Room No. 7 held its world premiere at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival on July 13, 2017. It was subsequently released in South Korean theaters on November 15, 2017, with distribution handled by Lotte Entertainment.
