Robo Rock (2007 Film)

Robo Rock (Japanese: ROBO☆ROCK) is a 2007 Japanese film directed by Taikan Suga. The production features a screenplay written by Toshimitsu Takeuchi and Yusuke Watanabe. The film had a runtime of 110 minutes and was released in Japan on November 23, 2007.

Plot

The story centers on Masaru, a 23-year-old man who describes himself as a "genius odd-job-man" despite his tendency to fail at various tasks. He lives with his girlfriend, Kiriko, who is a tattoo artist. Masaru is approached by Nirasawa, a public employee who claims that Masaru's voice is required to activate a giant robot known as the Land Zeppelin. Nirasawa asserts that the Earth is facing an imminent invasion by Saturnians and that the robot is essential for defense. While Masaru is initially skeptical, he later finds himself in a precarious situation after being framed during a job with his friend, Kou.
