Ringside Story (2017 Film)
Ringside Story (Japanese: リングサイド・ストーリー, Romaji: Ringusaido Sutori) is a 2017 Japanese film directed by Masaharu Take. The film blends elements of romance, comedy, and professional wrestling. It held its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in October 2017 and was released in Japan on October 14, 2017.

Plot
The story follows Kanako (Eriko Sato) and Hideo (Eita), a couple who have been together for ten years. Kanako works at a bento factory, while Hideo struggles to establish himself as an actor. Their relationship faces tension when Kanako loses her job. Hideo, an avid professional wrestling fan, discovers a job opening at a wrestling organization and applies on Kanako's behalf without her initial consent. Kanako eventually begins working for the organization and finds herself enjoying the environment, leading to friction as Hideo becomes jealous of her new career.
