Ring Virus (1999 Film)
Ring Virus (Korean: 링) is a 1999 South Korean horror film directed by Kim Dong-bin. The film is an adaptation of the 1991 novel Ring by Japanese author Koji Suzuki. It represents one of the early cinematic adaptations of the source material, which also served as the basis for the Japanese film Ring (1998).

Plot
The story follows Sun-ju, a reporter investigating a series of mysterious, simultaneous deaths. Her inquiry leads her to a resort where she discovers a videotape containing unsettling imagery. Upon watching the tape, she is confronted with a message stating she has been cursed and must perform a specific action to survive; however, the remainder of the message has been erased, leaving her to face the consequences of the curse.
