Rikon Shinai Otoko: Sareo to Oyome no Damashi Ai is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Asahi in 2024. The series, which consists of nine episodes, was broadcast in the Saturday 23:30 time slot from January 20 to March 16, 2024. It is based on the webcomic Rikon Shinai Otoko by Reiji Ohtake, which began serialization in 2022.

Plot

The story centers on Wataru Okatani, a local newspaper reporter who discovers that his wife, Ayaka, is involved in an extramarital affair with Masato Shiba, a high-ranking manager at a major Japanese entertainment agency. Faced with the reality that fathers in Japan often face significant challenges in obtaining child custody during divorce proceedings, Wataru decides to conceal his knowledge of the affair. He begins to document evidence of his wife's infidelity while simultaneously increasing his involvement in the upbringing of their seven-year-old daughter, Kokone. Throughout this process, Wataru receives support from a private detective named Yuu Misago and a lawyer named Tokiko Takarada.
