Riding Life
Riding Life (Korean: 라이딩 인생; RR: Riding Insaeng) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the ENA network in March 2025. The series consists of eight episodes and was broadcast on Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00. It is based on the novel Riding Insaeng by Ko Sun-Mi, which was published on October 30, 2018.
Plot
The story centers on Lee Jung-Eun (played by Jeon Hye-Jin), a working mother living in the highly competitive Daechi-dong neighborhood of Seoul's Gangnam District. Like many parents in the area, she is deeply invested in her seven-year-old daughter Hong Seo-Yoon's (Kim Sa-Rang) academic success. To ensure her daughter can attend a prestigious private institute, Lee Jung-Eun enlists the help of her own mother, Yoon Ji-A (Jo Min-Soo), to manage the daily transportation. The narrative explores the complex relationship between the two women, shaped by Yoon Ji-A's history as a single mother who raised Lee Jung-Eun on her own.
Production
The series was directed by Kim Cheol-Kyu, with the screenplay written by Sung Yoon-A. Riding Life occupied the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot on ENA, following the conclusion of the drama Namib. It was succeeded in the same time slot by New Recruit 3 on April 7, 2025.
Cast
The main cast includes Jeon Hye-Jin as Lee Jung-Eun and Jo Min-Soo as Yoon Ji-A. Supporting cast members include Jung Jin-Young, Park Bo-Kyung, and Kwon Yul.
