Reset (2014 South Korean TV Series)
Reset is a South Korean television crime thriller series that aired on the cable network OCN. The drama consists of 10 episodes and was broadcast from August 24 to October 26, 2014, in the Sunday 23:00 time slot. The series was directed by Kim Yong-Kyoon and written by Jang Hyeok-Rin.
Plot
The story follows Cha Woo-Jin (Chun Jung-Myung), a dedicated prosecutor who specializes in violent crime cases. His professional drive is rooted in a traumatic event from 15 years prior, when he lost his first love, Seung-Hee (Kim So-Hyun), to a criminal act. While investigating a new case, he encounters a high school student named Jo Eun-Bi (Kim So-Hyun), who becomes entangled in his pursuit of justice. Throughout the series, Woo-Jin works alongside Section Chief Han (Shin Eun-Jung) and a prosecution investigation officer (Park Won-Sang).
Production
Before settling on the title Reset, the production team considered the working titles Crying Game and Ten Days Ago. The series occupied the OCN Sunday 23:00 time slot, following the conclusion of God's Quiz Season 4 and preceding the premiere of Dr. Frost.
