Recipe for Happiness (Korean: 행복의 진수; RR: Haengbokui Jinsoo) is a two-episode South Korean television drama special that aired on JTBC in May 2020. The production was part of the JTBC Drama Festa, an anthology series featuring short-form dramas.

Plot

The narrative centers on two individuals navigating the complexities of modern life. Namgoong Jin-Soo (played by Gong Myung) is a grade 9 civil servant who attempts to manage his stress by seeking out small, achievable moments of happiness. His path crosses with Jung Soo (played by Sojin), a woman who has consciously chosen a life without marriage or children, focusing instead on her own personal definition of fulfillment.

Production

The project was directed by Yoon Jae-Won and written by Yoo So-Won. The initial script reading for the production was held on August 27, 2018, at the JTBC building in Sangam, Seoul. The drama aired on May 18 and 19, 2020, occupying the Monday and Tuesday 21:30 time slot on JTBC.
