Recalled (2021 South Korean Film)
Recalled (Korean: 내일의 기억; RR: Naeilui Kieok) is a 2021 South Korean mystery-thriller film directed by Seo Yoo-min. The film centers on a woman who, after suffering a traumatic accident and losing her memory, begins to experience visions of the future.
Plot
Following a serious accident, a woman named Soo-Jin (played by Seo Yea-ji) wakes up with no memory of her past. Her husband, Ji-Hoon (played by Kim Kang-woo), provides dedicated care as she attempts to recover and reintegrate into her daily life. During her recovery, Soo-Jin begins to experience unsettling visions of the future, specifically witnessing dangerous situations before they occur. Her life takes a dark turn when she encounters a former co-worker who reveals disturbing information about her husband, leading Soo-Jin to question the reality of her marriage and her own past.
Production
The film was written by Kim Ryu-hyun and director Seo Yoo-min. Principal photography for Recalled commenced on May 2, 2019, and concluded on July 3, 2019. The film was released in South Korea on April 21, 2021, and was distributed by iFilm Corporation and CGV Arthouse.
