Radiant Office
Radiant Office (Korean: 자체발광 오피스; RR: Jachebalgwang Opiseu) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC from March 15 to May 4, 2017. The series was broadcast on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 22:00. It follows the story of a woman who, after struggling to secure employment and facing a personal crisis, manages to obtain a position as a contract worker.
Plot
The narrative centers on Eun Ho-won, a woman who repeatedly fails to find stable employment. Following a failed suicide attempt in the Han River, she is hospitalized and receives news that she may be suffering from a terminal illness. Despite this prognosis, she eventually succeeds in landing a contract job, which serves as the catalyst for the series' exploration of workplace dynamics and personal resilience.
Production
The series was directed by Jung Ji-in and Park Sang-hoon, with a screenplay written by Jung Hwe-hyun. Filming for the series began on February 1, 2017, with lead actress Ko Ah-sung. Radiant Office occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 22:00 time slot on MBC, succeeding Missing Nine and preceding The Emperor: Owner of the Mask.
