Queen of Ring
Queen of Ring (Korean: 반지의 여왕; RR: Banjiui Yeowang) is a South Korean television drama that aired on MBC in 2017. It is the third installment of the Three Color Fantasy anthology series, a collaborative project between MBC and Naver. The series consists of three episodes and was broadcast from March 9 to March 23, 2017.
Plot
The story follows Mo Nan-hee (played by Kim Seul-gi), a young woman who struggles with low self-esteem due to her appearance. Her life changes when she discovers a mysterious family ring that holds a magical secret. When worn, the ring causes the person whom the wearer likes to perceive them as their ideal type. Nan-hee uses the ring to capture the attention of Park Se-gun (played by Ahn Hyo-seop), a handsome but cold-hearted man who has rigid standards for beauty.
Production
The drama was directed by Kwon Sung-chan and written by Kim A-jung. The first script reading for the production took place in October 2016 at the MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. Queen of Ring followed the broadcast of the second installment in the Three Color Fantasy series, Romance Full of Life.
