Queen of Masks
Queen of Masks (Korean: 가면의 여왕; RR: Gamyeonui Yeowang) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on Channel A from April 24 to June 13, 2023. The series consists of 16 episodes and centers on the intertwined lives of four women whose pasts are brought to the surface by a man from their shared history.
Plot
The narrative follows four women who find their lives disrupted by a single man. Doh Jae-Yi (Kim Sun-A) is a prominent human rights lawyer who, despite her public persona as a defender of the weak, is deeply ambitious and involved in covering up the illicit activities of the mayor of Tongjoo City. Go Yoo-Na (Oh Yoon-Ah) returns to South Korea after a decade-long absence to search for her missing daughter, forcing her to confront three former friends who abandoned her during a murder case ten years prior. Ju Yu-Jeong (Shin Eun-Jung), the chairwoman of an arts foundation, finds her life complicated by an uncomfortable situation surrounding her upcoming marriage. Yoon Hae-Mi (Yoo-Sun), the vice president of the Mariana Hotel, is characterized by her relentless pursuit of her desires, having climbed the corporate ladder from the bottom.
