Pyramid Game (South Korean Television Series)

Pyramid Game is a South Korean thriller drama series that premiered on the streaming platform TVING in 2024. The series consists of 10 episodes and was directed by Park So-Yeon, with a screenplay written by Choi Soo-Yi. The narrative is based on the webcomic of the same name by Dalggonyak, which was serialized on Naver between 2020 and 2022.

Plot

The story follows Sung Soo-Ji, a transfer student who enrolls at Baekyeon Girls' High School in Seoul. Upon joining grade 2 class 5, she discovers a disturbing social hierarchy enforced through a monthly popularity poll known as the "Pyramid Game." Students vote for their peers, and those who receive the fewest votes are assigned an "F" grade. This designation subjects the student to systemic bullying and social ostracization by their classmates. After receiving zero votes on her first attempt, Soo-Ji becomes the new target of this cycle and begins a campaign to dismantle the game and challenge the school's environment.

Production and Cast

The series features an ensemble cast portraying the students and faculty of Baekyeon Girls' High School. The lead role of Sung Soo-Ji is played by Bona. Other key cast members include Jang Da-A as Baek Ha-Rin, Ryu Da-In as Myung Ja-Eun, Shin Seul-Ki as Seo Do-A, and Kang Na-Eon as Im Ye-Lim.
