Psychokinesis (2018 Film)
Psychokinesis (Korean: 염력; RR: Yeomryuk) is a 2018 South Korean film directed by Yeon Sang-ho. The film blends elements of comedy and fantasy, focusing on an ordinary man who suddenly acquires the ability to control inanimate objects through his mind.

Plot
Shin Suk-hun, a bank security guard, discovers he has developed psychokinetic powers. His life takes a turn when he is contacted by his estranged daughter, Roo-mi. Roo-mi operates a fried chicken restaurant in a local market that is being threatened by a construction company backed by criminal elements. As the conflict between the tenants and the developers escalates, Suk-hun attempts to use his newfound abilities to protect his daughter and her community, while also navigating his own desire for personal gain.
Production
The film was directed by Yeon Sang-ho, with a screenplay also written by the director. Principal photography for Psychokinesis commenced on April 17, 2017, and concluded on August 6, 2017. The production took place in Chuncheon, located in the Gangwon Province of South Korea. The film was distributed by Next Entertainment World and released in South Korea on January 31, 2018.
