Prison Hotel (2017 Japanese TV Series)

Prison Hotel is a Japanese television drama series that aired on BS Japan from October 7 to December 16, 2017. The series, which consists of 10 episodes, was directed by Takahiro Aoyama and Hironobu Okano. The plot follows Kazuma Hanazawa, played by Naoki Tanaka, who secures a position as a hotel manager, only to discover that the establishment primarily caters to members of the yakuza.

The series is based on the Prison Hotel novel series written by Jiro Asada. The original literary work is divided into four seasonal volumes published by Tokuma Shoten Publishing Co., Ltd between 1993 and 1997:
