Potato Star 2013QR3 (Korean: 감자별 2013QR3) is a South Korean television sitcom that aired on the network tvN. Directed by Kim Byeong-Wook, the series consists of 120 episodes and was broadcast from September 23, 2013, to May 15, 2014. The show explores the lives of various characters following an unusual astronomical event.

Production

Development of the series included an early working title, Kokoomacheorum Saenggin Kamjabyeol 2013QR3, which translates to "Potato Star 2013QR3 That Looks Like A Sweet Potato." The production team held the first script reading on August 2, 2013, at the CJ E&M Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul, with filming commencing later that month.
