Poison (1997)

Poison (Korean: 쁘아종; RR: Bbeuajong) is a South Korean drama film released on February 22, 1997. Directed by Park Jae-ho and written by Gun Kim, the film explores themes of abandonment and the search for connection.

Plot

The narrative follows Seo-rin, a woman whose life is shaped by early trauma after being abandoned by her mother in a movie theater during her childhood. After growing up on the streets, she encounters Jeong-il, an insomniac. Their meeting initiates a complex journey as they search for love and attempt to find one another amidst their personal struggles.
