Plot

The story centers on Hyun Taek-ki (played by Yang Ik-june), a 40-year-old poet living on Jeju Island. Taek-ki struggles with his creative output and financial instability. His personal life is further complicated by his inability to conceive a child, a source of significant pressure from his wife (Jeon Hye-jin). The narrative shifts when a teenage boy (Jung Ga-ram) enters his life, prompting Taek-ki to experience profound emotional changes.

The film was directed and written by Kim Yang-hee. Principal photography commenced on December 21, 2016, on Jeju Island. The film was distributed by CGV Arthouse and released in South Korea on September 14, 2017.
