Play, Plii
Play, Plii is a South Korean web drama series that aired on the streaming platform TVING from November 18 to December 9, 2023. The series consists of eight episodes and is directed by Kim Jong-Chang, with a screenplay by Park Yoon-Sung. The story is adapted from the Naver webcomic of the same name, written and illustrated by the creator known as EF, which was serialized from September 2020 to November 2022.
Plot
The narrative follows Song Han-Joo (Kim Hyang-Gi), a university student majoring in Media and Sociology. While she maintains an ordinary life, she harbors a secret identity as a musician named "Plii," who performs guitar-based songs on social media with her face obscured. Her life becomes complicated when Lee Do-Kook (Shin Hyun-Seung), a popular member of the boy group SEZ who attends the same university, discovers her music and becomes captivated by her talent. Unaware that Song Han-Joo and Plii are the same person, Lee Do-Kook attempts to collaborate with her, leading to a series of events that bring the two closer together.
