Pigpen (South Korean Television Series)

Pigpen (Korean: 돼지우리; RR: Dwaejiwoori) is a South Korean television series directed by Kim Sang-Man. The series is an adaptation of the webcomic of the same name, which was written by Kim Kan-Bi and illustrated by Cheon Beom-Sik. The original webcomic was serialized on the Naver platform from March 2, 2019, to June 13, 2020.

Plot

The story follows a man named Jin-Woo (played by Jang Ki-Yong) who awakens on an isolated island with no memory of his identity or past. He is discovered and taken in by a family operating a local pension. As Jin-Woo attempts to recover his lost memories, he becomes increasingly suspicious of the family members, including the pension owner (Cha Seung-Won), his daughter Ro-Mi (Roh Jeong-Eui), and a worker named Jin Tae-Hee (Kim Dae-Myung). As his memory returns, he uncovers a significant secret regarding his situation. Parallel to these events, a man named Bae Jung-Ho (Park Hee-Soon) is depicted searching for his missing son.
