Phantom (2012 South Korean Television Series)
Phantom (Korean: 유령; RR: Yooryung) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from May 30 to August 9, 2012. The series is a police procedural focused on the specialized field of cyber crime investigation. It was directed by Kim Hyeong-sik and Park Shin-woo, with the screenplay written by Kim Eun-hee.

Plot
The narrative centers on Kim Woo-hyun (So Ji-sub), a high-achieving detective in the cyber investigation department. The plot begins with the team's efforts to dismantle an international illegal gambling ring. During their investigation, they encounter a hacker known as 'Hades'. The story escalates following the death of actress Shin Hyo-jung, an event that draws the cyber investigation unit into a complex web of digital evidence and conspiracy. As the investigation unfolds, the lines between the investigators and the subjects they track become increasingly blurred.

Production
The series was broadcast in the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot on SBS. It replaced Rooftop Prince and was followed by To The Beautiful You. The initial script reading for the cast occurred on May 3, 2012, at the Ilsan SBS Broadcasting Center. The final two episodes, 19 and 20, were originally slated for broadcast on August 1 and 2, 2012, but were rescheduled to August 8 and 9, 2012, due to coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics.
