Persevere, Goo Hae-Ra

Persevere, Goo Hae-Ra (Korean: 칠전팔기 구해라; RR: Chiljeonpalgi Goohaera) is a South Korean musical television drama series that aired on the Mnet network in 2015. The series, which consists of 12 episodes, explores the lives and aspirations of young musicians attempting to break into the competitive music industry.

Plot

The story follows Goo Hae-Ra, a 21-year-old woman who dreams of debuting as a singer to honor the musical legacy of her late father. Alongside her childhood friends, the twins Kang Se-Jong and Kang Se-Chan, she participates in the reality television music competition Superstar K 2. During the "Super Week" stage of the competition, the trio forms a group with Henry, Lee Woo-Ri, and Jang Goon. However, an unexpected incident leads to their elimination, forcing them to return to their ordinary lives. Years later, a series of events brings the group back together, providing them with a second opportunity to pursue their musical ambitions.
