Perfect Revolution (2017 Film)

Perfect Revolution (Japanese: パーフェクト・レボリューション, Romaji: Pafekkuto Reboryushion) is a 2017 Japanese drama film directed and written by Junpei Matsumoto. The film is based on the life and experiences of Yoshihiko Kumashino, an activist who was born with cerebral palsy and advocated for the recognition of the sexual needs of people with disabilities.

Plot

The narrative centers on Kuma, a man born with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair. Kuma is an outspoken advocate who challenges societal perceptions regarding the sexual rights and needs of individuals with disabilities. His life changes when he encounters Mitsu, a woman working as a sex worker who struggles with a personality disorder. The film follows the development of their relationship as they navigate their personal challenges and societal stigma.
