Pegasus Market
Pegasus Market (Korean: 쌉니다 천리마마트; RR: Ssabnida Cheonrimamateu) is a South Korean television series that aired on the cable network tvN from September 20 to December 6, 2019. The series consists of 12 episodes and was directed by Baek Seung-Ryong. It is an adaptation of the webcomic of the same name by Kim Kyu-Sam, which was serialized on Naver from 2011 to 2013.
Plot
The story centers on Cheonrima Mart, a struggling retail store owned by the large conglomerate Daema Group. Moon Suk-Goo (Lee Dong-Hwi), the store's manager, is deeply frustrated by the mart's lack of customers and bleak future. His situation changes when Jung Bok-Dong (Kim Byung-Chul), a former high-ranking executive at the parent company, is demoted and sent to manage the store. While Moon initially views the new CEO as a savior, Jung's true intention is to sabotage the mart as an act of revenge against the Daema Group. However, his unconventional and often bizarre management decisions unexpectedly lead to a surge in popularity and customer traffic.

Production
The series is based on the webcomic Ssabnida Cheonrimamateu, written by Kim Kyu-Sam. The original webcomic ran from July 5, 2011, to October 24, 2013. Kim Kyu-Sam makes a cameo appearance in the first episode as an executive for the DM Group. The show occupied the Friday 23:00 time slot on tvN, succeeding the series Ugly Young-A (Season 17).
