Park Sung-Geun

Park Sung-Geun (born May 2, 1971) is a South Korean actor known for his prolific work across film and television. Active in the South Korean entertainment industry for decades, he has established himself as a versatile supporting actor, appearing in numerous notable drama series and feature films.

Acting Career

Park began appearing in films in the early 2000s, with early credits including Take Care of My Cat (2001) and Marriage Is a Crazy Thing (2002). Over the years, he transitioned into a reliable character actor, frequently portraying authority figures, corporate executives, law enforcement officials, and legal professionals in both television and cinema.

One of his most widely recognized television roles is Kang Won-Cheol, a prosecutor and later chief prosecutor, in the critically acclaimed tvN drama series Stranger (2017) and its second season Stranger 2 (2020), as well as the spin-off series Dongjae, the Good or the Bastard (2024). His extensive filmography also features appearances in major South Korean box-office hits and thrillers, such as Inside Men (2015), The King (2017), The Man Standing Next (2020), and Default-adjacent political and crime dramas.
