Park Shin-Hye (Korean: 박신혜) is a prominent South Korean actress and singer born on February 18, 1990, in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Over a career spanning more than two decades, she has established herself as a leading figure in Korean television dramas and feature films.

Early Life and Career Beginnings
Park was born to parents alongside an older brother. While attending Hak-Kang Elementary School in Gwangju, her English teacher at a private institute encouraged her to audition for pop singer Lee Seung-Hwan's management agency, Dream Factory. She traveled to Seoul to audition, subsequently beginning training in acting, singing, and instrumental performance involving the guitar and keyboard. Her family relocated to Seoul in 2001.
In 2003, Park made her entertainment debut starring in the music video for Lee Seung-Hwan's song "Ggot" (Flower). Later that year, she successfully auditioned among 250 contestants for a role in the SBS television drama series Stairway to Heaven. Playing the child counterpart of the main character Han Jung-Seo, Park gained early public recognition through the series, which regularly drew viewership ratings exceeding 40%.

On November 23, 2021, management agencies for Park Shin-Hye and actor Choi Tae-Joon announced that the couple would marry in Seoul on January 22, 2022, and were expecting their first child.
