Park Joon-Hwa: South Korean Television Director

Park Joon-Hwa (Korean: 박준화) is a South Korean television series director known for his extensive work in cable television, particularly with the network tvN.

Career and Major Works

Park has directed numerous notable South Korean television drama series across various genres, ranging from long-running slice-of-life and romantic comedies to fantasy historical fiction. His career includes directing multiple seasons of the long-running series Ugly Young-A, beginning in 2007, which established his presence in cable television production.

Over the subsequent decades, Park directed several high-profile romantic comedies and dramas that gained domestic and international recognition, including Let's Eat (2013–2014), its second season Let's Eat 2 (2015), Because This Is My First Life (2017), What's Wrong With Secretary Kim (2018), and Touch Your Heart (2019).

In 2022, he directed the two-part fantasy television series Alchemy of Souls and its follow-up Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow. His later projects include Love Your Enemy (2024) and the MBC series Perfect Crown (2026).
