Park has appeared in a wide array of South Korean feature films spanning various genres, from historical dramas to thrillers and action pictures. Notable film credits include Seven Days (2007), The Scam (2009), The Suspect (2013), The Age of Shadows (2016), 1987: When The Day Comes (2017), and The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion (2018). His performance in Seven Days earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the 29th Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2008. He later received the Best Supporting Actor award at the 54th BaekSang Arts Awards in 2018 for his role in 1987: When The Day Comes.
