Paradise Murdered (2007 Film)
Paradise Murdered (Korean: 극락도 살인사건; RR: Gukrakdo Salinsagun) is a 2007 South Korean mystery-thriller film directed and written by Kim Han-min. The film is set on a remote island off the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula, where a small community of 17 residents faces a series of unexplained disappearances and violent deaths.

Plot
The story takes place on a seemingly idyllic island known as Paradise Island. The peace of the small community is shattered when the inhabitants begin to vanish without a trace. When a blood-stained corpse is discovered, the remaining residents realize they are trapped on the island due to rough seas and a disabled radio communication system. As suspicion grows among the survivors and hidden secrets emerge, the island transforms from a peaceful sanctuary into a site of terror.

Production and Release
The film was released on April 12, 2007, in South Korea. It was produced with a budget of approximately US$ 3.9 million. In 2008, the film was screened at the 12th Fantasia Film Festival, where it received its Canadian premiere.
