Pandora (2016 South Korean Film)
Pandora (Korean: 판도라) is a 2016 South Korean disaster thriller film written and directed by Park Jung-woo. The film centers on a nuclear power plant crisis triggered by a major earthquake in a small town, exploring the ensuing national panic and the efforts of plant workers to prevent a catastrophic meltdown.

Plot
Jae-Hyeok, played by Kim Nam-gil, lives in a small town with his mother, sister-in-law, and nephew while working at the local nuclear power plant. His life is disrupted when a powerful earthquake strikes the region, causing severe damage to the facility. As the situation deteriorates and government officials struggle to manage the crisis, Pyung-Sub (Jung Jin-young), a veteran employee who had previously raised concerns about the plant's safety, becomes a central figure in the response. Facing the threat of a total nuclear disaster, Jae-Hyeok and his colleagues return to the damaged plant to undertake a dangerous mission to stabilize the facility.
Production
The film was written and directed by Park Jung-woo. Principal photography for Pandora commenced on March 7, 2015, and concluded on July 21, 2015. The film was distributed by Next Entertainment World and released in South Korea on December 7, 2016.
