Padam Padam... The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats (Korean: 빠담빠담…. 그와 그녀의 심장박동소리) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the cable network JTBC. The series, which blends elements of romance and fantasy, premiered on December 5, 2011, and concluded on February 7, 2012, spanning 20 episodes. The title Padam Padam is an onomatopoeia representing the sound of a beating heart.

Production and Broadcast

The series was directed by Kim Kyu-Tae and written by No Hee-Kyung. It was broadcast on Monday and Tuesday nights at 20:45. Following its conclusion, the time slot was succeeded by the drama Syndrome on February 13, 2012. The series achieved international interest, with broadcasting rights sold to TV Asahi in Japan for approximately $2.2 million USD.

Music

The original soundtrack (OST) for the series was released in two parts. The first part, released on December 5, 2011, featured the track "To Live" performed by the group Noel. The second part, released on December 19, 2011, included the song "You Fool" (Geudae Babo), performed by Jea of the K-pop girl group Brown Eyed Girls.
