Overman (2015 Film)
Overman (Korean: 초인; RR: Choin) is a 2015 South Korean drama film written and directed by Seo Eun-Young. The film explores the developing bond between two high school students who find solace in each other's company.

Plot
Do-Hyun (Kim Jung-Hyun) is a high school gymnast who faces disciplinary action following a series of behavioral issues. As part of his punishment, he is assigned to perform community service at a local library. During his time there, he encounters Soo-Hyun (Chae Seo-Jin), a student who visits the library daily to borrow books. Soo-Hyun encourages Do-Hyun to begin reading, marking a turning point in his life. As the two spend more time together, they develop a deep emotional connection, navigating the complexities of their respective personal struggles.
Production and Release
The film was directed and written by Seo Eun-Young, with Park Young-Soo serving as producer and Jung Ki-Wook as the cinematographer. Overman held its world premiere on October 2, 2015, at the 20th Busan International Film Festival, where it was screened as part of the Korean Cinema Today: Vision section. The film received its general theatrical release in South Korea on May 5, 2016.
