Our Body (2018 Film)

Our Body (Korean: 아워 바디) is a 2018 South Korean drama film written and directed by Han Ka-Ram. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2018 before receiving a theatrical release in South Korea on September 26, 2019.

Plot

The story follows Ja-Young, played by Choi Hee-Seo, who has spent eight years preparing for the civil service examination without success. Feeling disillusioned with her life and the pressure of her academic pursuits, she encounters a jogger named Hyun-Joo (Ahn Ji-Hye). Inspired by Hyun-Joo, Ja-Young begins jogging, a decision that leads to a shift in her perspective and a newfound sense of vitality. As she integrates physical activity into her routine and secures a part-time job, she begins to distance herself from the expectations of others, though she eventually discovers that Hyun-Joo's own life is not without its complications.
