Our Blooming Youth

Our Blooming Youth (Korean: 청춘월담) is a South Korean historical television series that aired on the cable network tvN in 2023. The drama, which consists of 20 episodes, was broadcast on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 20:50, running from February 6 to April 11, 2023. It occupied the time slot previously held by Missing: The Other Side 2 and was succeeded by Family: The Unbreakable Bond.

Plot

The series centers on the lives of Crown Prince Lee Hwan and a noblewoman named Min Jae-Yi. Lee Hwan is portrayed as an arrogant and capricious figure who harbors a secret regarding a mysterious curse, leading to a life of isolation and hidden emotional trauma. Min Jae-Yi, known for her intelligence, finds her life upended when her entire family is murdered. Falsely accused of the crime, she becomes a fugitive, eventually crossing paths with the Crown Prince as they navigate their respective fates.

Production

The series was directed by Lee Jong-Jae with a screenplay written by Jung Hyun-Jung. The production focuses on themes of mystery and romance set against the backdrop of the Joseon era.
