Oshiro Maeda

Oshiro Maeda (born December 7, 2000) is a Japanese actor born in Osaka, Japan. He is recognized for his work in both film and television, having established a career that spans from his childhood to his adult roles. He is the younger brother of actor Koki Maeda.

Career

Maeda began his acting career at a young age. One of his early notable roles was in the 2011 film I Wish (Kiseki), directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda, where he played the character Ryoonosuke Kinami. His performance in this film earned him the Best New Actor award at the 7th Osaka Cinema Festival in 2012.

Throughout his career, Maeda has appeared in a wide range of television dramas and feature films. His television credits include roles in Taira no Kiyomori (2012), MIU 404 (2020), and Fune wo Amu: Watashi, Jisho Tsukurimasu (2024). His filmography features appearances in titles such as Our Little Sister (2015), What She Likes (2021), and Last Mile (2024).
