Ordinary Person (Korean: 보통사람; RR: Botongsaram) is a South Korean drama film released on March 23, 2017. Directed by Kim Bong-han, the film explores themes of morality and corruption set against the backdrop of South Korea in 1987.

Plot
The story follows Kang Sung-jin (Son Hyun-joo), a dedicated detective living in 1987 South Korea. His primary ambition is to provide a stable life for his wife and son. His life changes when he apprehends a suspect named Tae-sung (Jo Dal-hwan), who is identified as a potential serial killer. This arrest draws Sung-jin into a clandestine operation orchestrated by the National Security Planning (NSP) Chief, Kyoo-nam (Jang Hyuk). As a journalist named Jae-jin (Kim Sang-ho) begins to investigate irregularities surrounding the case, Sung-jin finds himself caught between his professional duties and the pressures of the secret operation, particularly as he faces personal financial struggles.
Production
The film was directed by Kim Bong-han, who also contributed to the screenplay. Principal photography commenced on August 24, 2016, in Namsan, Seoul, and concluded on November 24, 2016.
