Ordinary People (Korean: 소시민; RR: Sosimin) is a 2017 South Korean drama film written and directed by Kim Byung-June. The film explores the life of an ordinary man caught in an extraordinary and tragic situation.

Plot
The story follows Jae-Pil, played by Han Soo-Hyun, a man struggling with the pressures of his professional life and family responsibilities. His life takes a dark turn when he returns home after a night of drinking to discover his wife dead. When he attempts to report the incident to the police, he finds himself accused of her murder. Amidst this crisis, Jae-Pil is also preoccupied with completing a work assignment given by his boss, highlighting the absurdity and stress of his situation.
Production and Release
The film was directed and written by Kim Byung-June, with production by Oh Won-Jae. It held its world premiere at the 20th Busan International Film Festival on October 2, 2015, as part of the Korean Cinema Today: Panorama section. The film received its general theatrical release in South Korea on January 12, 2017. It has a runtime of 117 minutes.
