One Ordinary Day

One Ordinary Day (Korean: 어느날; RR: Eoneunal) is a South Korean legal drama series that premiered in 2021. The series was directed by Lee Myung-woo and written by Kwon Soon-gyu. It was released on the streaming platform Coupang Play and consists of eight episodes.

The narrative follows Kim Hyun-soo, an ordinary university student whose life is upended when he becomes the prime suspect in a murder case. As he is thrust into the criminal justice system, he is assisted by Shin Joong-han, a struggling lawyer who barely passed the bar exam and is the only person willing to take on his defense. The series explores the complexities and challenges of the legal system through their partnership.

The drama is a remake of the British television series Criminal Justice, which originally aired on BBC One between 2008 and 2009. During its development, the project was known by the working title Geunal Bam (That Night).
