One Night Stand (2010)

One Night Stand is a South Korean anthology film released on May 4, 2010. The film consists of three separate segments, each directed and written by a different filmmaker, exploring themes of desire and interpersonal relationships.

Production

The film was produced as an omnibus project, with a total runtime of 98 minutes. It was distributed by KT&G Sangsangmadang. The cinematography was handled by Kim Il-Yun, Yu Ji-Seon, and Jang Woo-Yeong.

Segments

Episode 1

Directed by Min Yong-Keun, the first segment focuses on a series of intersecting desires involving a young man, a woman he observes from an apartment, and another woman who expresses interest in him. The cast includes Jang Liu, Lee Joo-Seung, Lee Young-Hoon, Jung Seung-Gil, and Goo Jae-Yeon.

Episode 2

Directed by Lee Yu-Rim, the second segment follows a narrative involving a wife who disappears after a conflict with her husband at a remote cottage. The cast features Jeong Man-Sik, Choi Hee-Jin, Baek Jeong-Rim, Yoo Ha-Bok, Ryu Abel, and Park Joo-Hyung.

Episode 3

Directed by Jang Hoon, the final segment centers on a man who introduces his girlfriend to a foreign film critic, leading to feelings of jealousy and internal conflict. The cast includes Kwon Hae-Hyo, Darcy Paquet, and Joo Ye-Rin.
