One Dollar Lawyer (Korean: 천원짜리 변호사; RR: Cheonwonjjari Byeonhosa) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS from September 23 to November 11, 2022. The series follows the professional and personal life of Cheon Ji-Hun, a lawyer known for his unconventional approach to legal practice.

Plot
Cheon Ji-Hun (played by Namkoong Min) is a highly skilled attorney who charges a fee of only 1,000 won (approximately $1 USD) for his legal services. Despite his low fees, he frequently takes on cases against powerful, high-priced law firms and wealthy clients who exploit their status to evade justice. His life intersects with Baek Ma-Ri (Kim Ji-Eun), a confident prosecutor's assistant and the granddaughter of Baek Hyun-Mu, the founder of the prestigious Baek Law Firm.

The series was directed by Kim Jae-Hyun and written by Choi Soo-Jin and Choi Chang-Hwan. It occupied the Friday and Saturday 22:00 time slot on SBS. The show followed Today's Webtoon and was succeeded by The First Responders on November 12, 2022.
During its broadcast, the schedule experienced a minor adjustment: the ninth episode did not air on Friday, October 21, 2022. Instead, a special recap episode covering the first eight episodes was broadcast, with the ninth episode airing on Saturday, October 22, 2022.
Cultural Impact
The character of Cheon Ji-Hun made a notable crossover appearance in the SBS drama Taxi Driver 2, where Namkoong Min reprised the role for a cameo in the ninth episode.
