Ohitorisama (Japanese: おひとりさま) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on the TBS network in 2009. The series, which consists of 10 episodes, was broadcast on Friday nights at 22:00 from October 16 to December 18, 2009.

Plot

The story follows Satomi Akiyama, a 33-year-old history teacher at the prestigious Seika female high school. While Satomi is highly regarded for her professional competence and dedication to her students, she struggles with domestic tasks and remains single. Her life takes an unexpected turn when Shinichi Kanzaka, a 23-year-old temporary teacher, joins the faculty. Despite their ten-year age gap and significant differences in personality, rank, and income, Satomi is tasked with mentoring Shinichi. Their professional collaboration eventually leads to a romantic connection.
