Obsessed (2014 South Korean Film)
Obsessed (Korean: 인간중독; RR: Inganjoongdok) is a 2014 South Korean romantic melodrama directed by Kim Dae-woo. Set in 1969, the film explores themes of desire and psychological turmoil within a strict military environment.

Plot
The story follows Colonel Kim Jin-pyeong (Song Seung-heon), a war hero who has recently returned to South Korea following his service in the Vietnam War. Despite his high standing and the respect he commands within the military base, he struggles with the psychological aftermath of his combat experiences. His life becomes complicated when he meets Jong Ga-heun (Lim Ji-yeon), the wife of his new subordinate, Kyung Woo-jin (On Joo-wan). As the two families live in close proximity, a clandestine and intense relationship develops between the Colonel and Ga-heun.
Production
The film was directed by Kim Dae-woo, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Oh Tae-kyung. Principal photography for the production commenced on October 14, 2013, and concluded on January 23, 2014.

Reception and Awards
The film received recognition at several domestic film ceremonies in 2014. Lim Ji-yeon was awarded Best New Actress at both the 51st Daejong Film Awards and the 34th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards. Cho Yeo-jeong received the Best Supporting Actress award at the 34th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards.
