Non (Japanese Actress and Artist)

Non (stylized in lowercase as non; born Rena Nounen on July 13, 1993) is a Japanese actress, model, and artist from Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.

Early Career and Modeling

Non began her career in the entertainment industry after winning the Grand Prix at the 10th annual model audition for the teen fashion magazine Nicola in 2006.

Acting Career

Transitioning into television and film, she gained widespread recognition for her acting roles. Her television credits include the NHK television series Amachan (2013), as well as appearances in The Locked Room Murders (2012) and High School Restaurant (2011). On the silver screen, she has portrayed leading and supporting roles in numerous films, including Princess Jellyfish (2014), Hot Road (2014), The Fish Tale (2022), and Hold Me Back (2020).

Awards

Throughout her career, Non has received critical recognition for her performances, including winning the Rookie of the Year award at the 38th Japan Academy Prize in 2015 and the Best New Artist award at the 37th Hochi Film Awards in 2012.
