Nobody's Lover (2022 Film)

Nobody's Lover (Korean: 만인의 연인; RR: Manineui Yeonin) is a South Korean drama film directed by Han In-Mi. The film explores the coming-of-age journey of an 18-year-old girl navigating sudden independence and complex personal relationships.

Plot

The story centers on 18-year-old Lee Yoo-Jin, played by Hwang Bo-Un. After her mother becomes pregnant and leaves home with a boyfriend, Yoo-Jin is forced to manage her life independently. Seeking stability, she begins working at a local pizzeria. Through her new environment, she encounters various individuals, though she continues to struggle with the complexities of her relationship with her mother and finds herself caught in a difficult romantic situation.

Production and Release

The film was produced by Kim Ik-Kwon, Kim Dong-Woo, and Yoo Jae-Kyung, with cinematography by Song Hye-Ryeong. Nobody's Lover held its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in October 2021. It received a theatrical release in South Korea on December 1, 2022, with a total runtime of 130 minutes.
