Nippon Ichi no Saitei Otoko: Watashi no Kazoku wa Nisemono datta
Nippon Ichi no Saitei Otoko: Watashi no Kazoku wa Nisemono datta (Japan's Number One Jerk Salaryman) is an 11-episode Japanese television drama series that aired on Fuji TV from January 9 to March 20, 2025. The series was broadcast in the network's Thursday 22:00 time slot.

Plot
The story follows Ippei Omori, a former television reporter who loses his job following a scandal driven by his outdated social attitudes. Disillusioned and unemployed, Ippei moves into his late father's home. He soon invites his brother-in-law, Shosuke Kohara—a widower raising two children alone—to move in with him. While Ippei initially harbors a dislike for family life, he begins performing household chores and assisting with the children. His sudden change in behavior is motivated by a desire to run for a local ward assembly election; he believes that presenting himself as a family man will improve his public image and help him secure a political career. As he navigates this charade, his interactions with his housemates lead him to confront various social issues, gradually altering his perspective on life.
