Ningen no Shomei (Japanese: 人間の証明, lit. "Proof of the Man") is a Japanese television drama series that aired on Fuji TV from July 8 to September 9, 2004. The series consists of 10 episodes and was broadcast in the Thursday 22:00 time slot. It is based on the novel of the same name by author Seiichi Morimura.

Plot
The story follows the investigation into the death of a young African-American man found in Japan. The victim leaves behind a book of poetry and a cryptic word, which serve as the primary clues for the authorities. The narrative unfolds across both Japan and the United States, examining the complex lives of the individuals involved. The series explores themes of familial bonds, national identity, justice, and the nature of human morality.
