Night Light (South Korean TV series)

Night Light (Korean: 불야성; RR: Boolyasung) is a South Korean television series that aired on MBC from November 21, 2016, to January 24, 2017. The drama, which consists of 20 episodes, was broadcast in the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot.

Plot

The series centers on the lives and ambitions of three individuals. Seo Yi-Kyung (Lee Yo-Won) is a cold, calculated woman driven by the desire to build her own financial empire, holding the belief that greed is not a sin. Park Gun-Woo (Jin Goo) is a man from a wealthy family who maintains lingering feelings for his first love, Seo Yi-Kyung. Lee Se-Jin (Uee) is a woman from a humble background who seeks to improve her social and economic status.

Production

The series was directed by Lee Jae-Dong and written by Han Ji-Hoon. The first script reading for the production was held on September 27, 2016, at the MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. The series replaced Woman with a Suitcase in its time slot and was followed by The Rebel.
