New Normal is a South Korean thriller film directed and written by Jung Bum-sik. The film explores the theme of fear as an inherent component of modern, everyday life, weaving together the experiences of six distinct individuals whose paths cross through a series of unsettling events.

Plot
The narrative follows six characters navigating their own personal anxieties and routines:
- Hyun-jung (Choi Ji-woo): A woman who struggles with the inability to smile.
- Hyun-soo (Lee Yoo-mi): A job seeker who is also searching for romantic connection.
- Hoon (Minho): A university student living a solitary life.
- Ki-jin (P.O): A young man who has abandoned his job search and is involved in a controversial romance.
- Yeon-jin (Ha Da-in): A convenience store part-timer who harbors a deep disdain for others.
- Seung-jin (Jung Dong-won): A middle school student who aspires to be a hero.
These characters are linked by a series of cases that highlight the hidden dangers and fears embedded in their daily routines.

The film was directed, written, and produced by Jung Bum-sik. It features cinematography by Kim Young-min. New Normal held its world premiere on July 17, 2022, serving as the closing film for the 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. The film was officially released in South Korea on November 8, 2023, with a total runtime of 111 minutes.
