Nam Sang-Ji: South Korean Actress and Television Star

Nam Sang-Ji (Hangul: 남상지; born December 14, 1989) is a South Korean actress recognized for her work in film and television productions. Active in the South Korean entertainment industry, she has appeared in a variety of supporting and leading roles across notable television dramas and feature films.

Career and Filmography

Nam Sang-Ji began her career appearing in feature films, gradually expanding her portfolio into television series. Her early film appearances include minor and supporting roles such as an employee in Marriage Blue (2013), a nursery school teacher in The Last Princess (2016), and Zhao Yifei in the drama film Spirits' Homecoming (2016), as well as its follow-up Spirits' Homecoming, Unfinished Story (2017). She also made brief appearances in Lucid Dream (2017), Innocent Witness (2019), and Ashfall (2019).

In television, Nam secured roles in widely watched series. She appeared in MBC's All Kinds of Daughters-in-Law (2017), tvN's historical drama Mr. Sunshine (2018), and the medical drama Hospital Playlist (2020). Her breakthrough into leading roles came with KBS daily dramas, notably starring as Seo Dong-Hee in Bravo, My Life (2022) and as Yoo Eun-Sung in Unpredictable Family (2023). Her performance in Unpredictable Family earned her recognition at the KBS Drama Awards.

Awards and Recognition

At the 2023 KBS Drama Awards held on December 31, 2023, Nam Sang-Ji received the award for Excellent Actress in a daily drama for her role in Unpredictable Family.
